Kovilje vs Smiljevac

[edit]

@Vanjagenije maybe the village definitions differ between the register and the census? Or they did at the time of the addition into the registry in 1997? --Joy (talk) 15:03, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Joy: I don't know for sure. It looks like that the whole village of Kovilje is part of the cadastral municipality of Simljevac. That is not uncommon. Very small villages often do not have their own cadastral municipality, but belong to a larger one. The decision on the establishment of the Cultural Heritage ([1]) says only that the church is located in the cadastral municipality of Simljevac. On the other hand, the decision on the categorization ([2]) says that it is located in the "human settlement" of Kovilje. Therefore, I am restoring your edit. I guess it makes the most sense to note Smiljevac cadastral municipality on the Kovilje article, or even just the general geolocation. Thanks. --Joy (talk) 17:59, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
